Your HVAC shop Text message

Missed call · 2:14 PM

Sorry we missed your call! We are on a job. What can we help with?
AC is blowing warm air
We can send a tech tomorrow morning. Does 9 AM work?
Yes
Booked for 9 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.

Example exchange, for illustration.

You can't answer the phone from inside an attic. Your next customer will call someone who does.

The way it goes now

  • The phone rings while you are under a unit.
  • The caller gets voicemail, hangs up, and dials the next shop on the list.
  • You call back at 6 PM. They already booked someone else.

With Rungback

  • The call goes unanswered and a text goes out within seconds.
  • The caller describes the problem and gets their questions answered.
  • You finish the job and find an appointment already on the calendar.

We set it up, register your texting with the carriers, and send you a monthly report. You do not learn new software. You keep working.

How it works

Start to finish, no extra work from you

Setup is on us: your message wording, your booking rules, and carrier texting registration.

  1. While you are on the job

    A call goes unanswered

Keep using your regular business number. When you cannot pick up, Rungback notices the missed call.

  2. Within seconds

    The caller gets a text

They hear from you before they have time to call a competitor. The message says you are on a job and asks what they need.

  3. By the time you are done

The job is booked or waiting

Replies are answered and appointments are set. Your monthly report shows what came in.

The part that books jobs

AI replies that answer, then book

Most callers want the same few things: do you service my area, can someone come tomorrow, roughly what does it cost. The Standard package answers those questions by text and offers appointment times, so a missed call turns into a booking instead of a voicemail.

You decide what it can say. Anything it should not handle goes back to you.

  • Missed-call text back

A first text goes out in seconds, in wording you approve.

  • Monthly report

Calls missed, texts sent, appointments booked. Plain numbers, no dashboard to learn.

  • Review requests

Plus package. Ask finished customers for a review by text.

  • Appointment reminders

Plus package. Fewer no-shows without you making calls.

  • Carrier registration

We handle 10DLC registration, and every message carries opt-out language.

Your monthly report

Judge it on your numbers

Every month you get one page: how many calls you missed, how many texts went out, and how many turned into appointments. If it is not earning its keep, you will see that too.

Straight answers

Skeptical? Good.

Is this just another vendor promising the moon?

We would rather you test it than believe us. You can have the demo texted to your own phone before you pay anything, and the first few businesses get a free 14-day trial. Every month you get a plain report of calls missed, texts sent and appointments booked, so you can judge it on your own numbers.

Is texting my customers legal? What are TCPA and 10DLC?

In the US, texting people is governed by the TCPA, and carriers require businesses to register their texting program under a system called 10DLC. Registration is part of our setup, and every message includes a way to opt out. This is a plain-language overview, not legal advice. Check your own situation with a lawyer if you are unsure.

What happens when someone replies STOP?

They are opted out and they stop getting texts. That is the rule, and it is built in. We do not text people who have opted out.

Will it sound like a robot?

The Basic package sends a message you write yourself. Standard and Plus add AI replies that answer common questions and offer appointment times. We set the wording up with you before it goes live.

What does it cost, and are there extra fees?

Basic is $197 a month, Standard is $297 and Plus is $397. The setup fee is waived for early clients. The prices are on this page because you should not have to book a call to find them.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Tell us you want to stop and we stop. Ask us for the exact terms in writing before you sign up if you want them in front of you.

Does it work outside HVAC?

Yes. We start with HVAC, and it also works for plumbing, roofing and auto repair shops, or any business where the phone rings while your hands are busy.

Feel it on your phone before you pay a dime.

Enter your mobile number and we will text you the same exchange your customers would get. No sales call required.
